___Some people think that there are many different roads that lead to
heaven. Many of them feel that it doesn’t matter what type of religion
you believe in as long as you are a good person. Unfortunately, this is
not true. Doing good things (or what the Bible calls works) and being a
good person is not what gets you to heaven (Eph 2:8-9). If that were so,
there would have been no reason for Jesus to die on the cross for our
sins (Gal 2:21)!
___Belief in Jesus is the "One Way" to get to heaven. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, the Holy Spirit begins to transform us into better people (2 Cor 3:18). As we grow in our walk with the Lord, we start doing more good things and avoiding more bad things. Doing good things not only makes our life on earth happier and safer, it increases our rewards in heaven.
___To believe in anyone but the Lord Jesus is to fall for Satan’s plan to trick people into throwing away their chance to go to heaven. Don’t let Satan rob you of eternal happiness. Follow the "One Way" sign that points to the only road up to heaven--via Jesus Christ!
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
